Two people injured, one thrown from vehicle after accident in Jefferson County
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Two people were injured this morning after an accident in Young Township resulted in a person being thrown from his vehicle into the road. According to a Punxsutawney Fire Department Facebook post, the accident occurred Friday, July 10, on Harmony Road (PA 310) and Adrian Road after a Ford Escape collided with a Cadillac. Two Jefferson County EMS units were on scene and transported two patients, including the driver who was thrown from his vehicle. The road was closed for several hours as state police used a drone to reconstruct the accident. Multiple fire departments responded to the scene, including Elk Run's Engine Rescue -Station 30, Central's Rescue - Station 20 and Lindsey's Engine - Station 40. McCalmont's Rescue - Station 16 was also on scene for QRS.
