Teen killed in Highland County crash
HIGHLAND COUNTY, Ohio (WKRC) - A teen is dead after a crash in Salem Township on Friday. According to police, the two-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of State Route 131 and State Route 134 in Highland County at about 2:16 p.m. A Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southwest on SR-134 when it collided with a Pontiac driven by Brice Lynch, 17, of Seaman, who was traveling east on SR-133. A preliminary investigation indicates the Pontiac failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by the Chevrolet. Both vehicles went off the roadway and struck a barn. Lynch was ejected as a result of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. Crabill was taken by ground ambulance to Mount Orab Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The roadway was closed during the investigation but has since reopened. The Patrol was assisted by Lynchburg Fire and EMS and the Highland County Coroner’s Office.
