Police identify woman killed in northern Kentucky crash that closed I-71/75 SB
Police are sharing more details on a crash last Friday that left one person dead on Interstate 71/75 in northern Kentucky.The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. on July 3, along the southbound lanes of I-71/75 near Buttermilk Pike in Crescent Springs.Kenton County Police said Stacy Wick, 47, was driving on I-75 when she went into the right shoulder and hit a semi-truck that was parked there due to mechanical issues.Police said Wick died at the scene of the crash and a passenger in her car was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center for treatment. All southbound lanes were closed for hours as investigators responded to the scene.Anyone who witnessed the crash or has information has been asked to contact the Kenton County Police Department.
