Police chase ends in crash, shuts down road in Adams County: dispatch
A road just outside of Gettysburg has been shut down after a police chase ended in a crash Friday afternoon. Dispatch confirmed the crash happened on Old Harrisburg Road in Straban Township, just north of Shrivers Corner Road. Dispatch logs show the wreck was reported around 3:47 p.m. State police said the roadway will be shut down for an extended period of time. Helicopters were reportedly called to the crash and EMS is on scene, dispatch records show. It is unknown if anyone has been injured. This is a developing story.
