Motorcyclist seriously injured in west Las Vegas crash
A motorcyclist suffered apparent critical injuries in a crash on the eastern edge of Summerlin on Tuesday afternoon. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police say the crash happened around 1:34 p.m. at Rampart Boulevard and Canyon Run Drive, just south of Summerlin Parkway. A motorcycle and vehicle were involved in a collision, and the motorcycle rider was taken to a hospital with what appeared to be critical injuries. Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing. No further details were disclosed. Both directions of Rampart Boulevard are closed for the response. There was no word on when the street could reopen.
