FWPD seeking answers, vehicle in fatal hit-and-run crash
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is seeking public assistance in locating the vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that killed a man. On June 19 around 3 a.m., someone reported a man unconscious in the 6700 block of Maysville Road near North River Road. Authorities pronounced the man -- identified as 49-year-old Donsia Lamont Kizer -- dead at the scene. The Allen County Coroner's Office has not determined a manner of death, and the cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries from the crash. Police are looking for a 2009-2014 Ford F-150 with front end damage, but no other details are available.
