Fatal multi-car crash in L.A. neighborhood leaves 2 dead, others injured
Emergency crews responded to a multi-vehicle crash that left two people dead and two others injured in Los Angeles’ Hyde Park neighborhood Friday morning. The crash was reported just before 10:45 a.m. in the 3300 block of West 78th Street. Paramedics found four patients at the scene, with two pronounced dead after evaluation, the Los Angeles Fire Department said in a news release. Video from Citizen.com showed several badly damaged vehicles with car parts and debris scattered across the road and onto nearby lawns. Two other patients were being prepared for transport to local hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately known. No information about the cause of the crash was immediately available.
