2 dead after crash involving semi in Hegewisch
CHICAGO — Two males died Friday morning following a crash involving a semi in Hegewisch. At around 9:15 a.m., authorities responded to the 2700 block of East 130th Street on the report of a crash. Police believe a semi was traveling eastbound on 130th Street when the driver attempted a left turn. At around that time, a Dodge Grand Caravan collided with the rear end of the semi. Two males inside the Grand Caravan were pronounced dead after being transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center. No other injuries were reported.
