Fatal accident: Pedestrian struck by vehicle in West Virginia
HUNINGTON W.Va., (WTRF) - There was a fatal accident on I64 westbound in West Virginia on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Troopers from the Huntington Detachment responded to a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle. After arriving Troopers found Kristy L Manley of Huntington in the roadway and began administering CPR until Cabell County EMS arrived on the scene. The 36-year-old was struck by 61-year-old driver David J Kennison of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. Kennison remained on the scene and began administering CPR until Troopers arrived. The victim was pronounced deceased at St. Mary's Hospital, the next of kin were notified. The investigation is still ongoing.
