Crash near Waterford campground temporarily shuts down road
Route 19 in Waterford was closed after a severe accident Saturday night. That incident happened around 8:30 Saturday evening near the entrance of Sparrow Pond Family Campground. It appears that a motorcycle and car may have been involved. Several units from nearby areas responded, as well as state police. The accident caused backed-up traffic and the road had to be completely closed. We do not know the extent of the injuries and will update you as information becomes available.
