Man sentenced to 8 years in prison related to fatal hit-and-run crash
AUSTIN (KXAN) -- A Hays County judge sentenced a man to 8 years in state prison in connection with a 2022 fatal crash. According to court documents obtained by KXAN, Rodolfo Lopez pleaded guilty to an accident involving death, a second-degree felony. Toward his sentencing, he will receive a total of 1 day of jail time credit. The charge stems from the death of 54-year-old Myron Liggins following a hit-and-run on Interstate 35 near mile marker 210 in San Marcos.
