Woman seriously hurt in Fond du Lac County collision; 3 juveniles suffer minor injuries
TOWN OF AUBURN (WLUK) -- Four people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Friday in Fond du Lac County. Shortly after noon, dispatchers received a 911 call reporting a collision at the intersection of County Highway V and Haven Drive in the town of Auburn. Preliminary investigation determined a 16-year-old from Campbellsport stopped their SUV at the stop sign on Haven Drive, but failed to yield the right-of-way while attempting to continue eastbound across County Highway V. The vehicle entered the path of a northbound SUV being driven by a 55-year-old Campbellsport woman. The 16-year-old and two juvenile passengers were transported by ambulance to Froedtert Hospital in West Bend and treated for minor injuries. The Campbellsport woman was taken to SSM Health in Fond du Lac with serious injuries. An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
