Woman dies after falling off vehicle during altercation in Fort Lauderdale

The Fort Lauderdale Police Department is investigating a death.The police department said on Wednesday, July 22, that it received a report of a car accident with a pedestrian at 2 a.m. in the 400 block of SE 32nd Street.When officers arrived at the scene, they learned that a man and woman, who knew each other, were involved in the incident.The police department learned a physical altercation between the two started at a local hotel.As the altercation escalated, the man attempted to leave in his vehicle.Your neighborhood: Local coverage from WPBF 25 NewsAccording to the police department, the woman jumped on the hood of the man’s vehicle and at some point, fell off while the vehicle was in motion.The woman was critically injured and transported to Broward Health Medical Center by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue.
