Woman dies after fall in industrial accidental; Oneida Sheriff investigating
The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal industrial accident. The sheriff's office said it was called to Titan Homes in the Town of Sangerfield for a report of the accident around 9 a.m. on July 9. The office said a woman, 45-year-old Heather Gantz, from Ilion, N.Y., fell and became not responsive. The office did not say where she fell from or what caused her to fall. Emergency crews tried to save her life before she was taken to Wynn Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. The Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Unit and the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's Office are investigating the circumstances of Gantz's death. Sheriff Robert Maciol said there is no foul play suspected in her death. The investigation into her death is ongoing.
