Video shows messy aftermath of multi-vehicle crash in Chesterfield Square
A multi-vehicle crash left at least one person with minor injuries in South Los Angeles early Saturday morning, police said. The collision was reported around 3:30 a.m. near South Gramercy Place and West Florence Avenue in the Chesterfield Square neighborhood, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. LAPD overnight Media Relations said officers responded to reports of a two-vehicle traffic collision at the intersection. Authorities said the crash resulted in minor injuries, and the investigation remained ongoing. No additional details were immediately available. Video from the scene obtained by Citizen.com appears to show debris strewn across the intersection as multiple damaged vehicles remained at the scene, including at least one SUV that came to rest near the curb. Several police officers and emergency crews were also seen investigating the crash. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene after receiving the call at 3:30 a.m., according to PulsePoint dispatch records. It was not immediately clear how many vehicles were involved or whether anyone was transported to a hospital. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
