Motorcyclist in fatal Airway Blvd. crash ID’d
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash along Airway Boulevard early Wednesday morning. Officers with the El Paso Police Department's Special Traffic Investigation Unit responded to the crash in the 1600 block of Airway Boulevard, near El Paso International Airport. According to investigators, 21-year-old Steven Zamora of Fort Bliss was traveling northbound around 12:35 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed into a retaining wall. Zamora was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said speed is believed to have been a contributing factor in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
