UPDATE: Roadway opened after Oshkosh motorcycle-car collision
OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) - After closing the roadway for an ongoing investigation into an accident between a motorcycle and a car, Oshkosh Police have now opened the road to motorists. (WFRV) -- An Oshkosh road is closed pending an investigation after a crash involving a motorcycle and a car on the afternoon of July 9, according to a press release. The motorcycle was driving northbound on Jackson Street. A vehicle tried to make a left turn onto the street from Bacon Avenue, striking the motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital. Their condition is unknown at this time. Jackson Street between Packer Avenue and Smith Avenue is currently closed to drivers as police continue their investigation.
