Two people hit by a car in Sun Valley, shuts down road
Police are responding to a crash in Sun Valley, where two people were hit by a vehicle. Both Nevada State Police and the Washoe County Sheriff's Office are responding to the intersection of E 5th Avenue and Sun Valley Boulevard. Sun Valley Boulevard was closed for several hours. Police confirmed that two people were hit around 6 p.m. Thursday evening - but their injuries are unknown. They were taken to the hospital, according to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office.
