Fatal Injuries Reported In Morning Accident On West Andrew Johnson Highway Near Mt. Pleasant
Greeneville has sustained its second fatal motor vehicle accident of the week, as one person died this morning in a two vehicle crash around 5:48 am on West Andrew Johnson Highway near Jost International and Mt. Pleasant Road. The fatal victim has been identified as 52 year old Paul Oaks of Pates Lane, Greeneville. Emergency personnel were dispatched to the two vehicle accident including one overturned vehicle. Oaks was extricated from the 1999 Chevrolet pickup by the Greeneville Emergency and Rescue Squad. Greeneville Fire, EMS also responded to the scene. No further details are available at this time. Greeneville Police are investigating.
