Two injured when motorcycle hits disabled car in southeast Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Two people were injured Friday morning in a southeast Wichita crash involving a motorcycle and a disabled car. The crash was reported shortly before 11 a.m. at Pawnee Street and Webb Road. Police said a motorcycle was going north on Webb when it hit a disabled car that was parked in the curb lane with its hazard lights on. Both the male motorcycle operator and his female passenger were taken to a hospital. The male had life-threatening injuries, according to the Wichita Police Department. Investigators think speed may have been a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
