Two drivers in custody following collision that caused two fatalities and six casualties
Louisiana State Police have arrested Anastasia Gordan, 19, and Cheryl Fleming, 58, in connection with a fatal crash that occurred in August. Gordan, driving a Nissan Altima, failed to yield and collided with a Honda Ridgeline driven by Bobby Isaac, 62. This initial collision pushed the Honda into oncoming traffic, where it was struck by Fleming's Hyundai Elantra, who was reportedly driving significantly above the speed limit. Tragically, two individuals, including Isaac, lost their lives in the crash, and several others were injured and hospitalized. Gordan is facing charges of negligent homicide and negligent injuring, among other offenses, while Fleming is charged with multiple counts of negligent injuring, reckless driving, and violations related to child passenger safety.
