Traffic was backed up on Route 101 in the Auburn area Monday after a crash involving a recycling truck.Police have not released any information, but witnesses reported seeing a large New England Recycling truck in the median.Traffic was backed up on both sides of the highway.By 6:40 p.m., the truck had been removed, and traffic was moving slowly again.There was no word on how many vehicles were involved or the extent of any injuries.
