Traffic accident leaves woman with serious injuries in Abilene
ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - A person was seriously injured in a traffic accident in south Abilene on Friday night. The accident happened on Friday, February 20, at around 9:00 p.m, at the intersection of South 27th Street and South Treadaway Boulevard. Police say a car struck a woman at the intersection. Emergency crews responded quickly to the scene, including the Abilene Police Department, Abilene Fire Department, and MetroCare Ambulance. The first officer to arrive requested additional police units to assist with traffic control as emergency personnel worked the scene. The woman was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
