Tow truck drivers injured in collision on I-90

A crash on Interstate 90 in Madison Township involving two tow truck operators and a patrol car is being investigated by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 15, as reported in a press release. While at the scene of a previous crash, troopers and tow truck operators were struck by a Dodge Charger that lost control while passing by. The Charger collided with the patrol car, injuring the two tow truck operators standing next to it. One tow truck operator sustained serious injuries, and both were taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the troopers inside the patrol car escaped unharmed. I-90 had to be briefly closed off due to the seriousness of the accident, as stated in the release.
