Teen charged in fatal motorcycle crash in James City County Sunday
A 17-year-old was facing multiple charges Sunday after a crash that killed a motorcyclist in James City County early Sunday morning.James City County Police responded to a crash involving a car and a motorcycle just before 6 a.m. in the 5800 block of Riverview Road.Police said the motorcycle driver was taken to Sentara Williamsburg Hospital, where he later died.The 17-year-old has been charged with DUI manslaughter, DUI, unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving after illegally consuming alcohol (under 21), underage possession of alcohol, reckless driving, and failure to maintain control of a vehicle.The teen was not injured and, as of Sunday afternoon, was in custody.The motorcyclist has been identified as 57-year-old Gilbert Andrea Allen.
