Teen brothers suffer severe injuries in Long Island accident: Authorities
Two brothers were hospitalized following a car crash that took place near a Long Island shopping mall, as reported by authorities. The incident occurred on Sunday morning just outside the Deer Park Shopping Center on Deer Park Avenue. One of the young men, aged 19, was driving north when he veered out of control and crossed into the southbound lanes, leading to a collision with a Dodge Ram truck. Both the 19-year-old and his 18-year-old brother sustained serious injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The truck driver, aged 49, escaped unharmed. The Suffolk County Police detectives are currently investigating the details of the crash.
