Six people hospitalized after Oakfield Township crash
OAKFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Six people were hospitalized with serious injuries after a crash Saturday afternoon in Oakfield Township, officials say. The crash happened at around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of 10 Mile Road Northeast and Wabasis Avenue Northeast. According to Oakfield Township Fire Chief Sam Peterson, a pickup truck pulling a pontoon headed northbound on Wabasis when a Jeep headed east on 10 Mile did not stop at the stop sign, hitting the truck. Two people were in the Jeep and four people were in the truck at the time of the crash. All were hospitalized with serious, non-life threatening injuries, according to Peterson.
