Sheriff: 12-year-old hospitalized after serious crash on busy Florence road dies
A 12-year-old who was hospitalized after a deadly crash earlier this month in Florence has died, according to the Boone County Sheriff's Office.Deputies say Camden Hunter, 12, died as a result of the injuries he sustained during the crash.Hunter was hospitalized following a crash in the 7400 block of Industrial Road, in Florence, on July 6. The coroner's office says he was being treated at Cincinnati Children's when he died.The crash happened around 4:15 p.m. Monday, July 6. The Boone County Sheriff’s Office said Shirley Hadden, 55, tried to pull out of a parking lot on Industrial Road and went into the path of another car traveling eastbound.Hadden was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, where she died.Another passenger of Hadden's car was taken to UC Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries.The driver of the other car was taken to UC Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
