Shawnee man killed in accident at Broken Bow Lake
Officials say a Shawnee man has died following an accident on Broken Bow Lake. Around 5 p.m. on Sunday, emergency crews were called to Broken Bow Lake, near Marina Cove. Investigators say 68-year-old Willard Phillips was rushed to McCurtain Memorial Hospital due to his injuries. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. Authorities say they are still trying to determine exactly what happened, so no other details are being released.
