(WJTV) - Several people were injured during a multi-vehicle crash in Hinds County. According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), the crash occurred on Interstate 20 westbound near the Edwards exit (19-mile marker) on June 25, 2026. Troopers said the crash involved two 18-wheelers, three pickup trucks and three passenger vehicles. They said several individuals sustained injuries in the crash. At this time, one westbound lane remains closed as emergency personnel work to assist those involved, clear the scene and restore normal traffic flow. Drivers are advised to use caution when traveling through the area, expect delays and consider an alternate route.
