Section of I-83 near Bass Pro Shops in Harrisburg bottlenecked due to multi-car crash
A section of Interstate 83 in Harrisburg is backed up after multiple cars appear to have crashed into the median. According to 511PA, the crash happened around 6:23 a.m. Thursday morning in the left-hand lane of the interstate heading southbound. Traffic is experiencing heavy delays and a lane restriction near exit 44 B. According to 511PA, the current lane restriction is expected to remain in effect until after 8 a.m. It's unclear if anyone was injured in the crash, according to dispatch, but emergency vehicles were called to the scene.
