Route 128 closed after serious crash involving tractor trailer and cars, 2 injured
A collision involving a tractor trailer and cars led to two individuals sustaining injuries and resulted in the closure of part of Route 128 North. According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, the incident occurred around 11:15 a.m. near mile marker 38 of Route 128/Interstate 95, close to the Massachusetts Turnpike interchange. Footage from Check Traffic From Sky5 showed a tractor-trailer blocking all lanes, with a silver Toyota Corolla stuck between the truck and the jersey barrier in the median. One occupant from each vehicle was transported to nearby hospitals for minor injuries. Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
