Riverside Drive in Evansville partially closed due to accident injuries
A car accident with injuries temporarily shut down a section of Riverside Drive in Evansville last Thursday. Evansville Dispatch received a report of the accident at 5:20 p.m. and sent EPD, EFD, and AMR to the scene. According to EPD, a car went through a red light and was struck by another vehicle. Three individuals sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital. The southbound lanes of Riverside Drive were closed for approximately an hour and have since reopened for normal traffic flow.
