PSP need help after fatal hit and run crash outside Warfordsburg
THOMPSON TOWNSHIP- Pennsylvania State Police say a Hancock, MD man is dead after being hit in the far southern portion of Fulton County early on Thursday morning. PSP were called to the 900 block of Tollgate Ridge Road, Thompson Township just before 3am on June 25th for a reported crash. Police say that 34-year-old Jacob Allen Long was "on the roadway" when an unknown year or color Dodge van struck Long. After the crash, police say the van and its driver continued south on Tollgate Ridge Road as the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a fence. The driver would flee the scene prior to PSP arrival. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact PSP McConnellsburg at (717) 485-3131, reference case PA 2026-819220.
