Probe launched after multi-car collision with NorCal officer
Officials are currently investigating a car accident that occurred Tuesday evening in Northern California involving multiple individuals, including a local deputy. The incident took place at around 5:45 p.m. on Yosemite Avenue and East E Street, according to the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Office. Although details about the number of vehicles involved have not been disclosed, the sheriff's office mentioned that one of the parties was the deputy who sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital. The extent of injuries to others involved remains unknown. The Oakdale Police Department is handling the investigation into the crash.
