Cambria County woman dead after car crashes into tree

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Richland Township woman died Friday, June 25, after sustaining significant injuries in an automobile accident earlier in the day in Indiana County. According to our media partners at The Tribune-Democrat, Sarah Ellis, 30, was riding in a Chevrolet Blazer without a seatbelt when it struck a tree in Black Lick Township. Cambria County Coroner Jeff Lees said Ellis was pronounced dead at 7:48 p.m. and there is no information regarding the driver. Following an autopsy at ForensicDX in Windber, Ellis's death was determined to be accidental and the result of multiple blunt-force trauma injuries.
