WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Police say a 22-year-old from Wichita died Tuesday after being thrown from a motorcycle after a crash. Officers found Blaise Stewart on the ground when they arrived at the scene just before 3:30 p.m. The crash happened at the intersection of Lincoln Street and Oliver Avenue. According to the preliminary investigation, a Kia Soul was turning from Oliver to Lincoln when it collided with the motorcycle. The impact caused the car to flip, and the driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Investigators think speed may have been a factor. The Wichita Police Department is investigating.
