Police chase in Northeast Memphis ends in fatal crash
MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- At least one person is dead, and two juveniles were left injured after a police chase ended in a crash in Northeast Memphis early Wednesday morning. A WREG photographer took photos of the scene, located at Summer Avenue and White Station Road, showing authorities canvassing the area and a heavily damaged vehicle overturned on its side. Officers confirmed that, as a result of the accident, one person is dead and two juveniles in the wrecked vehicle were sent to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in critical condition.
