Police are investigating a deadly collision in Sherburne between a car and a tractor trailer.
On Thursday afternoon, there was a collision on Highway 12B involving a car and a tractor trailer just south of the Village of Earlville in the Town of Sherburne, near Coye Road. Emergency response teams from Earlville and Sherburne, along with ambulances, arrived at the scene around 2:30 p.m. The road was closed for several hours due to the investigation of the accident by law enforcement. A jackknifed tractor trailer and scattered debris obstructed traffic flow. The incident took place in snowy conditions, affecting the road's safety. On Friday morning, inquiries were made about the accident, but no information was available at the time of press.
