Person extricated from vehicle after crashing into Wendy's
Crews helped rescue someone from inside their car after crashing into a Wendy's in Middletown overnight Sunday. The crash was reported shortly before 2 a.m., according to Dauphin County dispatch. A vehicle crashed into a wall outside of the Wendy's on Eisenhower Boulevard, which was closed at the time. Photos posted by Lower Swatara Fire Department show what appears to be a minivan that ramped onto the sidewalk and collided with the building. The fire department said it removed one of the doors to help get the person out of the vehicle. It's unclear what exactly caused the crash or if any injuries were reported. Lower Swatara Township Police Department is investigating.
