Pedestrian seriously injured in Dorchester car crash

A person riding a scooter suffered life-threatening injuries after they were hit by a car in Dorchester, Boston police said.Officers were called to 55 Aspinwall Road in Boston just before 9 p.m. for a report of a pedestrian hit by a car. The victim was found and taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The crash is under investigation.
