Part of US Highway 2 is closed due to a collision in Flathead County

(UPDATE) Smith Valley Fire said at 5 p.m. that Highway 2 is now open and clear for traffic.(1st REPORT) The Montana Department of Transportation reports that part of US Highway 2 is closed due to a collision in Flathead County.The road closure is at mile marker 104 along US Highway 2 between Kila and Marion. According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the closure is due to a vehicle collision that happened at about 12:15 p.m. on Monday.There is no word at this point on whether anyone has been seriously injured.We will update you when we get more information.
