Orange County e-bike crash leaves 3 injured
Three people were injured in a crash involving an SUV and an e-bike in Orange County, authorities confirm. The incident took place in Fullerton around 9 p.m. Monday, according to the Fullerton Police Department. A department spokesperson confirmed that officers were dispatched to Orangethorpe and Basque avenues and when they arrived, they found an e-bike had collided with an SUV. Per Fullerton police, the e-bike rider was identified only as an adult man. He was rushed to a trauma center in serious condition. There were two people inside the SUV at the time of the crash; both were treated at a hospital for minor injuries. Authorities did not reveal what caused the crash to occur right away or whether anyone was at fault. Alberto Mendez contributed to this report.
