Ongoing investigation underway after fatal crash near Texas Tech campus
LUBBOCK, Texas -- Texas Tech Police Department officials revealed they are investigating a single-vehicle crash on Friday morning that resulted in a fatality. According to a press release, officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of Texas Tech Parkway at approximately 4:15 a.m. on May 22 after receiving a report of a crash. Officials say that one male occupant was located at arrival and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Texas Tech Police Department officials also say that the Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crash Investigation Unit was on scene to assist with the investigation. This is an ongoing investigation.
