One killed, three injured in multi-vehicle crash in Orland Park
ORLAND PARK, Ill. (WGN) — One person was killed and several others were injured Monday morning in a four-vehicle crash in southwest suburban Orland Park. The crash happened just before 11 a.m. near 149th Street and LaGrange Road. According to the Orland Park Fire District, four vehicles were involved in the crash, and three of them were heavily damaged. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people were injured, with conditions ranging from minor to moderate. They were taken to local hospitals. LaGrange Road was closed for several hours as crews investigated. Drivers were asked to find alternate routes. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
