‘Multi-hour’ power outage due to vehicle crash in Tullahoma

TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (WKRN) — Utility crews in Tullahoma are working on a "multi-hour" power outage after the electric system sustained damage from a car accident. According to the Tullahoma Utilities Authority, the crash took place on North Jackson Street near Lowe's. Several customers are expected to be without power for several hours as crews work to repair the damage, according to TUA. "Our crews are working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power," TUA said in a statement. "We appreciate your patience and understanding while repairs are being completed." The outage is affecting nearly 300 TUA customers in the northwest portion of the city, including a significant portion of Ledford Mill Road and some Tullahoma Municipal Airport property. No official timeline for restoration was immediately provided, per TUA.
