Motorcyclist dies after striking tree off Oregon highway
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A motorcyclist died on Thursday morning after a crash on Highway 140, Oregon State Police announced. The crash took place at 9:15 a.m. near milepost 6 in Lake County. Officials say John Hunter, 69, was driving east on the highway when he "left the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree."
