Motorcyclist critically injured in Gulf Breeze crash
GULF BREEZE, Fla. -- A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash Thursday afternoon at a busy Gulf Breeze intersection, prompting a trauma alert and an emergency transport to a Pensacola trauma center. Midway Fire District units responded at about 12:30 p.m. to the intersection of Gulf Breeze Parkway and Gondolier Boulevard for a serious motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and was declared a trauma alert. The rider was transported to the Sacred Heart Trauma Center in Pensacola for treatment, according to the Midway Fire District. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
