Moncks Corner police investigating fatal motor vehicle versus pedestrian collision
(UPDATE, 4:55 pm) - The Berkeley County Coroner's Office identified Darnell Scott, 21, of Moncks Corner, as the victim of the collision. Scott was pronounced deceased on the scene from fatal injuries sustained from the collision. Original Story A pedestrian is dead after a collision involving a motor vehicle Thursday morning in Moncks Corner, according to police. The Moncks Corner Police Department said that officers responded around 7:30 a.m. to the area of US Highway 52 after the collision was reported. First responders pronounced the pedestrian, an adult, dead on the scene, according to MCPD.
