Man injured after car crashes into backyard in Attleboro

A man in his 70s was injured after police said he crashed into a backyard in Attleboro Monday afternoon. Firefighters responded to Rachael Drive at 2:26 p.m. for a report of a vehicle in the woods. Crews saw a vehicle in the backyard of a home on Captain Courtois Road. Firefighters said the driver, identified as a man in his 70s, was found outside the vehicle on the ground. MORE NEWS: Crews respond to crash at intersection of Route 102 and Route 14 in Scituate Police said the vehicle was traveling on Rachael Drive when it left the roadway. The vehicle traveled approximately 75 feet through a wooded area before striking a fence and stopping in the backyard. The driver was transported to Rhode Island Hospital. The crash is under investigation.
